The client specializes in the research, development, and production of eco-friendly synthetic leather and polymer materials. To enhance production capacity, it established a large-scale synthetic leather production line. The primary challenge was transporting high-pressure, high-viscosity raw resins, as conventional pumps failed to deliver satisfactory performance, necessitating the procurement of specialized pumping equipment for this application.

Solution

After multiple rounds of technical evaluation and supplier screening, the solution provider ultimately selected the Bonve cam-type dual-rotor pump as the core equipment for special resin transportation, procuring over 50 units to support multiple resin production lines.

Through extensive technical consultations, the company developed a customized solution for conveying ultra-high viscosity resins (250,000–300,000 CP) with neutral properties (corrosive) under high-pressure conditions. All flow components of the pump are constructed from 304 stainless steel, engineered to withstand the corrosive nature of the medium and extend equipment service life. The system employs a low-speed, high-torque gear reduction design that delivers robust torque at 70 rpm, ensuring stable continuous conveyance of ultra-high viscosity resins with minimal flow pulsation, no shear damage, and no physicochemical reactions with the resin. Additionally, a large-volume, low-flow delivery configuration addresses high-pressure transportation challenges up to 1.2 MPa. To enhance efficiency, flange connections are utilized, complemented by oil cup lubrication for continuous sealing maintenance and cooling, effectively preventing leakage under extreme viscosity conditions. This solution has received strong customer approval, with project progress being rapid; it has now been delivered on schedule and is operational on the client's production line.
